Customer Service

Companies really need to invest in Customer Service training. Listen to this great example of why it is needed. Should i put quotes around what i'm about to say? eh well...

Today was just a normal day at Under Par Golf and of course i am who every one runs to when something needs to go out. Well, today we needed to ship some bags back to the manufacturer and bill it to their account, easy enough right?

Well yea it was easy to do that, so i punch out the labels and give it to the old guys. Well i also scheduled a pick-up because i assumed that the bags would be ready for pick up 3 hours later. Well to my surprise i walk out and there is the UPS driver.

This is starting to be a long story, but it's almost done. Well, so this driver (not our normal driver, a newbie from the looks) was a little agitated, and actually said "Don't schedule a pick up unless you have the package ready." Lucky for him i was able to keep from saying anything.

Now yea we were in the wrong probably, but what poor corporate image you know? Thus another reason that we will not use UPS anymore. Hooray for FedEx!
